A professional guide knows the best places, the habits and habitats of the best animals, and can set you up to take the best shot. 

The extra help they offer in scoping out, hunting, and retrieving your trophy, gutting it, assisting with transfer to a chiller or taxidermy site, makes these services invaluable if you are a visitor to our country.   

Note: The guide fee is paid to the guide, there are additional acccess fees for the landowner and a specific trophy head fee depending on the aninal taken.  These are all discussed in advance prior to your hunt.   

There is no guarantee of a trophy, that's part of the hunt after all.

At Delargy Downs, we take bookings for specified dates and you have exclusive hunting at that time - no-one else will be there.  You can hunt 686 hectares of high country, Mount Victoria, and all the bush filled gullies and rocky outcrops and steep cliffs that Delargy Downs hunting is famous for.

You can book the accomodation ($250 + gst per night, minimum 2 night booking, sleeps 5) and have access to the facilities for wallaby and hare hunting and viewing of the deer and the great outdoors.   Extra fees payable for meat animals and trophy animals which must be booked and paid for in advance.

Excellent venue for off-grid family or friends reunion fun with the beautiful outdoors and plenty to shoot with your camera.  Ideal for non-hunters, the most relaxing place you can be, in the high country, alone, together with nature.
